About this camp

The CCNY STEM Institute Summer Enrichment Program is a free 4-5 week academic experience designed for middle and high school students to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) fields. Participants engage in interactive, group-based courses such as General Physics, General Chemistry, App Design, Game Design, Rocketry, Robotics, Creative Writing, Financial Literacy, and various levels of Algebra, Precalculus, and Calculus. Each course integrates a research component, culminating in a poster presentation at a Research Symposium, allowing students to publicly showcase their work. The program aims to challenge, inspire, and prepare underrepresented students for success in STEM, offering exposure to the City College of New York campus and the college experience. Eligible students may also connect to honors elective credit and, in select cases, potential college credit through CCNY's College Now partnership.
