This program offers high school students an in-depth exploration of the burgeoning space economy, predicted to be worth trillions in the coming decades. Participants will delve into the business, technology, and financing aspects of this industry, examining how private enterprises are driving a new space race and the potential for a Fifth Industrial Revolution through space commercialization. The curriculum covers financial models enabling space technology growth, the roles of government agencies like NASA and the Space Force, and the profitability of businesses operating within the space economy. Students will investigate opportunities in Low Earth Orbit (LEO), lunar settlement via the Artemis program, and Mars, as well as the steps businesses take to enter this sector. The course integrates fundamental concepts from business, economics, and finance with new ideas from ESG investing, risk management, and social impact measurements. Students will gain a foundational understanding of business development, intellectual property, and community building, learning how solving for space can address problems on Earth. The program features guest speakers from the private sector and international space organizations. As a final project, participants will develop their own investment strategies and portfolios, equipping them with tools to analyze the economics of spaceports, the aerospace industry, and the broader space economy.

Classes meet twice daily, once in the morning and once in the afternoon, separated by a two-hour midday break.
