Students build a real, working multi-agent AI application that they can demo and use for college applications.
The Research Ignited AI Agent Builder Lab is a hands-on, weekend introduction where students transition from AI users to AI builders. Participants learn to construct their own AI agents and a multi-agent 'research crew' using professional-grade tools like CrewAI. The program focuses on practical skills such as prompting, agent design, tool integration, and multi-agent collaboration. By the end of the lab, each student will have built a working multi-agent AI application, which they can demonstrate and include in college applications. This program serves as Level 1 of Research Ignited's AI track, providing a foundational toolkit for further exploration into specialized AI fields like Finance, Medicine, and Cyber-Defense.
A typical day involves a live, instructor-led 3-hour session where students actively build AI agents and a multi-agent crew through guided exercises.
This program is ideal for middle and high school students in grades 7-12 who are curious about AI and want to learn how to build AI applications with no prior coding experience.
