Participants earn two Cornell University credits while gaining hands-on experience in AI and product development, guided by Cornell Tech faculty and mentors on a cutting-edge campus.
The Cornell Tech Summer Innovation Intensives offer high school students an immersive three-week experience in artificial intelligence, ethical coding, data science, and product innovation. Participants will engage in hands-on activities, learning to identify real-world problems, design user-centered solutions, and integrate AI throughout the development process, from ideation to prototyping and storytelling. The program is structured with morning academic tracks where students can delve into areas like Engineering Operations, Interacting with AI, or Ethical Vibe Coding. In the afternoons, all students collaborate in the Future Builders Studio to apply their knowledge and create innovative projects. The program culminates in a showcase where students present their AI-powered solutions, gaining college-ready experience, teamwork skills, and confidence in a tech-driven world. Students will also earn two Cornell University credits upon successful completion.
Mornings are dedicated to one of three academic tracks: Engineering Operations, Interacting with AI, or Ethical Vibe Coding. Afternoons are spent in the Future Builders Studio, where students work collaboratively to design, prototype, and pitch AI-powered solutions to real-world problems.
This program is ideal for curious high school students aged 15-19 who have completed their sophomore year and are interested in technology, design, data, or solving real-world problems, with no prior coding experience required.
